According to data published by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, as of 1 July 2021, there are a total of 1,559 petrol stations in Serbia. Compared to the same date in 2020, the number has risen by 24.
The ranking of the first three companies, when it comes to the number of petrol stations, remained unchanged, compared to the previous year. NIS, which is majority owned by Russian GazpromNeft, is still in the first place with the same number of petrol stations – 316. Second place belongs to the company Lukoil with 116 stations, two more than the previous year. Knez Petrol is in the third place with 95 stations, which is six more than in 2020.
The order of the largest three fuel retailers in Serbia was the same in 2019 as well.
