Acting Director of Serbian power utility EPS Dusan Zivkovic said that the current quantities of coal in stockpiles, and the quantities ready to be excavated, are sufficient for stable production of electricity during the winter season.
He added that EPS has achieved good results in electricity production. In the first nine months, EPS power plants have produced 13.6% more electricity than in the same period last year. Its hydropower plants have generated nearly 42% more electricity, marking the highest hydro production in the last 23 years.
