Elicio Wind, local subsidiary of Belgian Elicio, said that it is planning to build two wind farms with combined installed capacity of up to 60 GW near the city of Pancevo, namely in Starcevo and Pancevo municipalities.
According to the Detailed Regulation Plan for the construction of the Vetroelektrana complex in these two municipalities, the construction of one or more wind farms, depending on wind potential, is planned, along with an infrastructure complex with a suitable medium-voltage connection and substation, as well as a system of access roads, all in line with the possibilities and conditions of connecting to the electricity network.
The Vetroelektrana complex will consist of two wind farms, for which the maximum of 11 wind turbines is planned. The combined installed capacity of two facilities will not exceed 60 MW.
The first wind farm (Elicio Wind 01) will have a power output of up to 50 MW and have a maximum of nine wind turbines, while the second wind farm (Nadel 1) will have a power output of up to 10 MW with two wind turbines.
In 2018, Elicio has commission the 42 MW Alibunar wind farm, along with 8 MW Malibunar wind farm commissioned in 2017.
