The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on the weekend (December 23-24) amounted to around 30.7 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 32.3 to around 33.5 euros per MWh.
On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on December 24 and the price amounted to 31.5 euros per MWh.
January futures on the TTF gas hub increased by 1.1% on Friday to 34.545 euros per MWh, while the price for the first quarter of 2024 was 34.72 euros per MWh. CAL 24 reached 35.415 euros per MWh, compared to 34.78 euros per MWh the previous Friday. Â
