Bulgarian gas supplier Bulgargaz and the Hungarian company MVM CEEnergy signed a memorandum on the supply and trading of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev attended the signing. He said that the memorandum is the result of joint efforts and active collaboration between the presidential institution and the Bulgarian government.
According to him, as a result of the pro-European policy of the caretaker government, Bulgaria gained access to liquefied gas terminals and gas transmission networks in Greece and Turkey, and thanks to this, Bulgaria today asserts itself as an active participant in the liquefied gas market for Central and Eastern Europe.
Radev emphasised that Bulgaria should have the ambition to become an indispensable factor contributing to the security of natural gas supplies and energy diversification for its allies and partners in Europe.
