Russia may allow natural gas producers other than OAO Gazprom to export gas, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Bloomberg TV at the World Economic Forum in Davos , Switzerland , on Wednesday.

He said that ending Gazprom’s monopoly on lucrative exports was “possible” given the emergence of other gas producers. “But we shouldn’t lose money, and that’s the main thing,” Mr. Medvedev said.
