Israeli investment fund Windin’ Capital is entering the Romanian energy market with the acquisition of a 50% stake in a hybrid renewable project under development in Sebeș, Alba County. The project integrates a 67 MW solar power plant with a 180 MWh battery storage system, positioning it among the most advanced combined renewable–storage initiatives currently planned in the region.

Windin’ Capital is securing its half-stake through a mix of equity participation, mezzanine financing, and a direct share purchase in the project company. The financing structure provides the fund with both ownership and a strategic role in accelerating project development.

For Windin’ Capital, the deal marks a significant entry into Romania’s expanding renewable energy market. The fund focuses on supporting renewable infrastructure and related companies across Europe and was established by the senior leadership of Aveeram Wind as their dedicated investment vehicle for regional growth.
