A Romanian company owned by Ukraine’s DTEK group is set to receive final approval for commercial operation of its 60 MW Glodeni Solar power plant, which has been connected to the national electricity grid since January.
The plant is operated by DRI, a DTEK subsidiary dedicated to expanding renewable energy projects within the European Union. A significant share of the electricity produced by Glodeni Solar is allocated to OMV Petrom.
With the upcoming commercial license, Glodeni Solar will be authorized to officially sell its electricity on the market, marking a key milestone in DTEK’s renewable energy expansion.
