Romanian electricity producer Hidroelectrica is looking to hire a consultant to develop a feasibility study for the project for the construction of a solar power plant and a green hydrogen production facility in Brasov county, at the location where the company previously planned to build a hydropower plant.

The plan was to build a hydropower plant on the Olt river with 27 MW power output, but now Hidroelectrica plans to build 300 MW solar power plant at the same location.

The consultancy contract is worth 2.5 million euros and the deadline for bids submission is 1 March.
