Danish renewables developer Eurowind Energy has completed the transformer station for the Teius solar power plant and is nearing the finish line with the installation of solar panels. The plant, expected to begin operations in mid-October 2024, is set to generate 103.59 GWh of electricity annually.

The internal transformer station, constructed to the highest standards, was procured through a competitive process won by Enevo Group. The procurement contract included transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the transformer station and the 110/20 kV, 80 MVA power transformer.

With a total installed capacity of 60.2 MW, the Teius solar power plant will provide enough green energy to power approximately 25,000 households. This project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, aims to boost solar energy production in Alba County by 60.2 MW, supporting climate change mitigation efforts and environmental conservation.
