Enel X Romania has designed, implemented, and put into operation 25 solar power plants with a total nominal power of about 10 MW in 2021.

More than 23,000 solar panels, covering a total area of over 50,000 square meters, were installed in 2021. With mono-crystalline type cells, the panels were installed both on roofs and on the ground. For the first time, Enel X Romania installed ground-based photovoltaic systems using state-of-the-art 650 W panels for two of its customers, with high efficiency and increased resistance to loads generated by snow and wind.

The installed photovoltaic power plants ensure an annual electricity production of about 12,000 MWh/year, contributing to cutting down carbon dioxide emissions by about 4,000 tons per year.

The company is aiming to reach a portfolio of over 75 MW of solar installed capacity for business customers by the end of 2025.

In the last four years, Enel X Romania has carried out projects that involved the installation of about 40,000 solar panels. Components such as charging stations for electric vehicles, solutions for optimizing energy consumption and improving energy quality, available in the company’s portfolio, allow the delivery of integrated, turnkey solutions for beneficiaries.

Enel X Romania has in its portfolio projects implemented for the most important companies in the following industries: food, automotive,
industrial equipment, retail, logistics centers, shopping centers, and office buildings.
