The price of electricity asked by the suppliers of last resort on the Romanian market, a role awarded on a monthly basis by auction, rose to 225 euros/MWh in October , not including the fees, VAT and excise duty.
The auction was won by Electrica Furnizare, which will thus supply electricity to all those consumers left without a supplier until they sign a contract with a new supplier.
The other bidders were CEZ aânzare, with a price of 273 euros/MWh, Enel with 326 euros/MWh. E.ON with 381 euros/MWh and Tinmar Energy with 465 euros/MWh. Electrica Furnizare also won the previous auction for September with a price of 144.2 euros/MWh.
