Electricity and gas supplier E.ON Energie Romania, local subsidiary of German E.ON, has concluded contracts for the delivery of 145 small-scale solar systems on a turnkey basis. The customers will operate these facilities as prosumers and deliver part of produced electricity to the public electricity network at the price regulated by relevant authorities. These integrated solar power plants, with a capacity between 33 and 100 KW, will provide E.ON’s clients with renewable energy for their own consumption.
The total value of these contracts amounts to around 13 million euros. E.ON Energie Romania will install about 38,000 solar panels in these projects, with a total nominal output of some 14.4 MW. Total annual electricity generation of these small-scale power plants will reach over 18,000 MWh, which will reduce annual CO2 emissions by 5,600 tons.
