The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) imposed fines on electricity and natural gas distribution operators in a total amount of some 500,000 euros for non-compliance with ANRE regulations.

Between March and October 2021, ANRE carried out numerous controls at the electricity and natural gas distribution operators. Thus, natural gas distributor Distrigaz Sud was fined with 145,000 euros, mainly for non-compliance with the 30-day deadline for issuing the technical connection notice to individuals and legal entities and non-compliance with the 45-day deadline for amending the technical approval in principle for which no connection contracts have been concluded.
