North Macedonian fuel retail company Makpetrol achieved a non-consolidated net profit of €13 million in the first nine months of 2024, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s operating revenues rose by 2% to €376.5 million, while operating expenses also increased by 2% to €365 million.
Domestic sales showed a positive trend, rising by 3.6% year-on-year to €368.5 million. However, sales in foreign markets experienced a significant decline, dropping 47% to €5.5 million.
In 2023, Makpetrol reported a net profit of €12.5 million, which was 40% lower than the previous year. During that period, operating revenues decreased by 19% to €492 million, and operating expenses fell by 18% to €478.8 million. Domestic sales saw a 17% decline to €475.5 million, while foreign sales dropped by 68% to €12.5 million.
Makpetrol operates a network of over 100 petrol stations across North Macedonia and has established units in neighboring Serbia and Greece.
