Montenegro is preparing to construct a new solar power plant in Danilovgrad municipality. The planned Brijestovo solar facility will have a total installed capacity of 50 MW.

The solar panels will be spread across an area of about 45.45 hectares in the settlements of Slap and Brijestovo. The site comprises several cadastral parcels, including a building that is scheduled for demolition to make room for the project.

A preliminary feasibility study, carried out by EFusion, determined that the maximum potential capacity for the future solar plant is roughly 50 MW.
