Montenegro: Jugopetrol’s profit increases by 55% in H1 2024

Montenegrin fuel retailer Jugopetrol reported a net profit of 2.78 million euros for the first half of 2024, up from 1.79 million euros in the same period last year. The company’s net sales rose by 8.5% to 115 million euros, while operating expenditures increased by 6.8% to 110 million euros. As of June 2024, Jugopetrol’s total assets were valued at 132.4 million euros, a slight decrease of 0.6% from the end of 2023. The company’s retained earnings stood at 22.5 million euros. Long-term liabilities were 2.1 million euros, and short-term liabilities were 30.1 million euros.

In 2023, Jugopetrol achieved a net profit of 7 million euros, compared to 12.1 million euros in 2022. The largest shareholder is Greek Hellenic Petroleum International, which has held a 54.35% stake since 2002.
