Montenegrin state-owned power utility EPCG said that its coal-fired thermal power plant Pljevlja has been taken offline in the evening of 13 February due to the economizer leak.

EPCG CEO Nikola Rovcanin said that the issue will be resolved soon and it is expected that the plant will be reconnected to the network in three to four days.

Prior to this downtime, TPP Pljevlja was continuously working at full capacity for 118 days.
