Montenegro: Average household electricity bill in March 2025 drops 6.2% from February

In March 2025, the average electricity bill for households amounted to 38.48 euros, reflecting a 6.2% decrease from the previous month (41.03 euros) and a 10.7% increase compared to March 2024 (34.76 euros). Zabljak municipality recorded the lowest average bill at 18.3 euros, while Tivat had the highest at 50.8 euros.

59% of households paid less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during March, 15.01% paid between 30 and 50 euros, 18.77% paid between 50 and 100 euros, and 7.22% of customers received bills exceeding 100 euros.

The power utility EPCG also reported that households consumed a total of 140.01 million kWh of electricity in March 2025, marking a 10.93% increase compared to March 2024, but a 5.03% decrease compared to the previous month.
