Average electricity bill for households in September 2021 amounted to 25.31 euros, slightly lower (7.3 %) than in September last year (27.3 euros) and 31 % lower compared to the previous month (36.65 euros).
Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Zabljak municipality (19.4 euros), while the highest consumption was in Ulcinj, where the average bill was 29.2 euros. 71.43 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during September, 18.63 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 8.42 % between 50 and 100, while 1.52 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 158,502 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 42.7 % of total consumers in Montenegro.
Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 86.8 million kWh in September 2021, which is 2 % less compared to September 2020 and 31.7 % less compared to the previous month.
