Average electricity bill for households in August 2022 amounted to 37.91 euros, 3.6 % higher than in August last year (36.6 euros).
Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Pljevlja municipality (20.7 euros), while the highest consumption was in Ulcinj, where the average bill was 70.3 euros. 60.2 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during August, 19.3 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 15.3 % between 50 and 100, while 5.2 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 179,399 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 47.4 % of total consumers in Montenegro.
Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 128.76 million kWh in August 2022, which is 1.26 % more compared to August 2021 and 0.92 % more compared to the previous month.
