French renewable energy company Akuo Energy is planning to invest up to 270 million euros in the construction of solar power plant Stipion in North Macedonia.
The statement from the company said that the power plant will have an installed capacity of between 350 and 400 MW, with the investment through the local company Ostro Solar.
Akuo Energy is present in the Balkans with the projects for the construction of 85 MW wind farm Basaid in Serbian and 100 MW wind farm Cicavica in Kosovo.
In September, the Government of North Macedonia has granted the status of a strategic projects to 415 MW wind farm Virovi developed by German wpd and 80 MW solar power plant Erdzelija developed by EFT.
