Independent power producer Jasper Wind SA will receive 63 million euros in debt financing for the construction of three wind parks with a combined capacity of 41 MW.
The loan will be provided by Germany’s Deutsche Bank AG and Greece-based Attica Bank.
The funding package will go toward a portfolio of three wind projects in Laconia, in the Peloponnese region, which are under construction. Building works have been ongoing since last year and the plants are expected to be commissioned in September.
The entire portfolio will be installed at a total cost of 80 million euros, which Jasper is sourcing from long-term loan facilities and its capital resources.
Attica Bank was the lead arranger, of the new funding transaction and Deutsche Bank acted as the structuring bank.
Jasper Wind has 200 MW of installed capacity, including the three wind farms in Laconia. The company is working on a development pipeline of over 1,000 MW of projects in Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania.
