Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in July reached 629 GWh. That is 3.5 % lower compared to July 2022 (652 GWh). In gross electricity production, hydropower plants participated with 34%, thermal power plants with 63% and wind farms with 3%.
Net electricity production amounted to 578 GWh, of which 207 GWh was produced in hydropower plants, 352 GWh was produced in thermal power plants, and wind farms produced 19 GWh.
In July, electricity imports amounted to 25 GWh, compared to 34 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 175 GWh, compared to just 36 GWh last July.
