Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2023 reached 620 GWh. That is 12% higher compared to same month in 2022 (556 GWh).
In gross electricity production, hydropower plants participated with 45%, thermal power plants with 51% and wind farms with 4%.
Net electricity production amounted to 582 GWh, of which 277 GWh was produced in hydropower plants, 281 GWh was produced in thermal power plants, and wind farms produced 24 GWh.
In June, electricity imports amounted to 46 GWh, compared to 17 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 253 GWh, compared to 36 GWh last June.
