Starting September 1, the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commenced natural gas deliveries to Croatia, as reported by Azernews. This milestone, achieved through collaboration between the governments of Azerbaijan and Croatia and facilitated by PPD and MET Group, underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to being a reliable energy partner for Europe, particularly as the winter season approaches.

This development is a significant advancement in the energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia and plays a crucial role in enhancing Europe’s energy security by diversifying its sources. With Croatia now included in its client list, Azerbaijan has expanded its gas supply network to ten European countries, which includes Turkiye, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia.
