Net electricity production in Croatia fell to 1,185 GWh in February this year from 1,541 GWh in the same month in 2021, the Central Bureau of Statistics said.
Electricity production in February was lower than January’s 1,512 GWh, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
The production of hydropower plants in February amounted to 465 GWh, thermal power plants and combined power plants on fossil fuels 447 GWh, thermal power plants and combined power plants on renewable sources 79 GWh, wind power plants 187 GWh and solar power plants 4 GWh.
Electricity imports in February fell to 872 GWh from 943 GWh in the same month in 2021, while exports fell from 1,000 GWh to 550 GWh.
Imports of electricity in February fell by 4.8% compared to January, while exports were 23% lower on a monthly basis.
Available electricity on the domestic market in February amounted to 1,492 GWh, which is less than 1,686 GWh in January, or more than 1,479 GWh in February 2021.
