Member of the Board of Croatian oil transportation company JANAF Vladislav Veselica met with the General Director of Transalpine Pipeline (TAL) Alessio Lilla.
The statement from JANAF said that TAL representatives were informed about Croatia’s oil transport and storage system and its capabilities, while pointing out the strategic role of the company on the energy map of Europe. Also, the two companies highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation for the supply of crude oil to the European Union and agreed further technical cooperation.
TAL oil pipeline is 753 kilometers long and stretches through Italy, Austria and Germany, connecting the port of Trieste with Bavaria and Baden-Wurttemberg. Two branches of that pipeline, one to the east and the other to the northwest, deliver crude oil to German refineries.
