Croatian oil company INA announced that it has started natural gas production at the new offshore well within the Ika gas field in the Adriatic Sea.
The statement from the company said that the Ika B-1R-DIR well was successfully connected to the existing INA production system in the northern Adriatic, ensuring the supply of an additional 150,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day into the Croatian gas system.
The annual production of the new well will amount to nearly 55 million cubic meters, which currently represents around 7 % of INA’s total gas production.
