The Croatian energy market operator, HROTE, has issued a public call for bids to incentivize electricity generation from renewable energy sources with a guaranteed purchase price. This call is open until November 14.

Bids are being accepted for solar power plants with capacities between 50 kW and 200 kW, with a total quota of 10,000 kW and a maximum guaranteed purchase price of 84.66 euros/MWh. Additionally, a public tender will be conducted for small hydropower plants (SHPP) in the same capacity range, with a quota of 1,000 kW and a maximum guaranteed purchase price of 165.12 euros/MWh.

It is important to note that end consumers with their own production and users of self-supply power plants are not eligible to participate in this public tender.
