The Croatian energy market operator, HROTE, has launched the first auction to award a market premium for large renewable energy projects with a tender quota of 648 MW. The deadline for submitting applications is July 4.
Solar power plants and geothermal power plants with an installed capacity of more than 500 kW, hydropower plants with a capacity of 500 kW to 10 MW, wind power plants with a capacity of over 3 MW, biomass power plants over 500 kW (up to 5 MW) and biogas power plants with a capacity of more than 500 kW (up to 2 MW).
Maximum reference values ​​for the allocation of market premium for individual groups of plants amount to HRK 495.6 (EUR 65.5) per MWh for solar power plants, HRK 1,095.6 (EUR 144.7) per MWh for HPPs, HRK 460.9. EUR 9) per MWh for wind power plants, HRK 1,411.6 (EUR 186.5) per MWh for biomass power plants, HRK 1,482.2 (EUR 195.8) per MWh for biogas power plants and HRK 1,264 (EUR 167) per MWh for geothermal power plants.
In accordance with the conditions of the public invitation, the most favorable bidders should be selected within 30 days from the expiration of the deadline for submission of bids, according to HROTE.
