Rompetrol Bulgaria, a subsidiary of KMG International Group, has opened a new, modern fuel station on Vladimir Vazov Boulevard, located close to Sofia International Airport. This latest addition strengthens the company’s position as one of Bulgaria’s prominent fuel retailers, expanding its presence in the capital to eight stations and increasing its nationwide network to a total of 55 locations.

The new station, like all Rompetrol outlets in Bulgaria, offers Efix-branded fuels sourced from the Petromidia refinery in Romania—one of the largest in the region and a key supplier for the company. Rompetrol Bulgaria’s network extends across the country, including in Sofia, along the Black Sea coast in cities such as Burgas, Varna, and Balchik, at major border crossings, and on key travel routes used by Romanian tourists heading to Greece.

In addition to its retail operations, the company also manages a fuel depot in Ruse with a storage capacity of 5,800 cubic meters. This facility features advanced blending technology that enables the mixing of conventional diesel with bio-components. This initiative represents a significant step toward promoting cleaner, more sustainable fuels in the Bulgarian market.
