Bulgaria: NPP Kozloduy recorded 80 million euros profit in the first two months

Bulgaria’s sole nuclear power plant Kozloduy recorded a net profit of 79.8 million euros in the first two months of 2023, significantly lower than almost 290 million euros recorded in the same period last year.

Total revenues dropped by an annual 31.5% to 280.5 million euros in January and February.

In January alone, NPP Kozloduy recorded a net profit of 41.3 million euros compared to 152 million euros a year earlier. Revenues from energy sales in January dropped to 140.9 million euros from 211.4 million euros.
