Bulgartransgaz has inked a contract worth 5.3 million levs (2.7 million euros) with a consortium that includes companies from Bulgaria, Germany, and Slovakia, which will develop an investment project for the renovation of the above-ground facilities of the Chiren natural gas storage, according to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.
According to a statement, the PGH-Chiren Engineering partnership should develop the investment project in 10 months. Bulgaria plans to finish the renovation by 2024 after the investment project is finished.
The partnership includes Bulgaria’s Turbine Spare Parts Services Partners, Germany’s DIAG Industries, and Chimcomplect Engineering, per information from the public procurement agency.
