Bulgarian thermal power plant Bobov Dol reported a net profit of 2.3 million euros in the first nine months of 2024, up from 1.37 million euros during the same period last year. However, the company’s total revenues fell to 110 million euros, marking a 31% decline compared to the first nine months of 2023. Total expenditures also decreased by 31.7%, reaching 107.7 million euros in the same timeframe.
Bobov Dol is a 630 MW coal-fired power plant that was commissioned in 2000 and is located in southwestern Bulgaria. It was privatized in 2008, with the majority ownership held by the local consortium Energy MK.
