The Regulatory Commission for Energy of the Republic of Srpska (RERS) has granted approval for the operation of the Ulog hydropower plant, following a decision made at its regular session. The permit for electricity production will be valid for five years, starting from March 5, 2025.

EFT HE Ulog, a company based in Kalinovik, submitted the application for the permit in December of the previous year. The Ulog hydropower plant is situated on the Neretva River and has an installed capacity of 35.14 MW. The total investment in the project amounts to 70 million euros, and the concession is owned by EFT.

In addition to the Ulog hydropower plant, EFT also owns a coal mine, a thermal power plant in Stanari, and a solar power plant in Bileca.
