The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has approved the issuance of energy permit to Suzlon Wind Energy BiH for the construction of Ivan Sedlo wind farm in Hadzici municipality.
Ivan Sedlo wind complex will consist of five wind turbines, each with power output of 5 MW. Their combined annual electricity generation is estimated to 15.65 GWh.
The Federal Government also approved an energy license to local company Eco-Wat for solar project with combined installed capacity of 30 MW in Stolac municipality. Estimated annual electricity generation of the plant is 7.15 GWh.
In 2018, the Sarajevo Cantonal Government has granted a concession to Suzlon Wind Energy BiH for the construction of Ivan Sedlo wind farm near the town of Hadzici. The project originally envisaged the installation of 12 wind turbines, which was later reduced to five.
