Bosnia and Herzegovina: Energopetrol profit drops in H1 2025

In the first half of 2025, Bosnian fuel retailer Energopetrol reported a net profit of approximately 250,000 euros, representing a 45.9 percent decrease compared to the same period last year. During this period, total revenues saw a slight decline of 0.6 percent, reaching 52.3 million euros. At the same time, total expenditures increased marginally by 0.1 percent, amounting to 53 million euros in the first six months of the year.

In the previous year, Energopetrol recorded a full-year net profit decline of 3.4 percent, closing the year with around 2.5 million euros. The ownership structure of Energopetrol remains highly concentrated, with Croatian oil company INA holding 88.65 percent of shares. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) owns 7.6 percent, while the remaining shares are held by various minority investors.
