EPBiH has launched a tender for the selection of a contractor for the construction of solar power plants Gracanica 1 and 2 with an installed capacity of 50MW.
The deadline for bid submission is 10 January 2024.
The project cost is estimated at 41 million euros and it is realized with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The power plants will be built in Bugojno on recultivated mines. Solar modules with 660 W output are planned to be used at the power plant.
In 2022, EPBiH signed a 30-year concession agreement with the Government of Central Bosnia
Canton for the construction of two solar power plants with an installed capacity of 50 MW (Gracanica 1 and Gracanica 2), which should be completed within 30 months. The construction permit was obtained in April this year.
