The Ministry of Economy of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton decided to award a concession to public power utility EP HZHB for the construction and operation of a 150 MW solar power plant in the municipality of Stolac.
The ministry said in a statement that the concession agreement is valid for 30 years. The expected investment costs in this solar project are around 92 million euros.
This is the largest solar project to be built in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. The Cantonal Government previously granted a large number of concessions for smaller solar facilities.
