Albania’s National Territorial Council (KKT) approved a number of building permits for energy facilities this week.
Thus, a license was issued for the Elbasan 3 and Fier substations within the project of the 400 kV transmission line Albania – Macedonia (Fier – Elbasan – Kafe Thane), which is being developed by the OST transmission operator.
Also, a permit was approved to the Albanian Electricity Corporation KESH for the construction of access roads that will be used for the construction of HPP Skavica.
KKT also approved five construction permits for hydroelectric power plants in the area of Dibra and Peskopija and extended the deadline for three more permits for the construction of HPPs.
In addition, Ventus was issued a building permit for the installation of wind turbines in the municipality of Puki.
