The Serbian Government has approved a regulation defining the Spatial Plan for the MG14 main gas pipeline, a 146-kilometer project running from Orljane near Niš through Leskovac and Vranje to the North Macedonian border. The route will also cover areas including Vladičin Han, Bujanovac, Preševo, Vlasotince, Surdulica, and Doljevac.

The MG14 pipeline, designed as a bidirectional line, will supply natural gas to the Jablanica and Pčinja districts while also enabling transit flows between Serbia and North Macedonia. A branch pipeline, RG-14-01, will directly supply Leskovac.

The project is part of Serbia’s strategy to enhance national energy infrastructure and regional connectivity, strengthening supply security and positioning the country as a key gas transit corridor in the Balkans.
