CWP Europe has completed and commissioned a 6 MW rooftop solar installation at Henkel Serbia’s Krusevac facility. The project, developed in partnership with Resalta and financed by UniCredit Bank, was delivered under an ESCO model, with CWP Europe serving as the principal investor.

The system is now fully operational and is expected to generate approximately 6,278 MWh of renewable electricity annually, covering around 21% of the plant’s total electricity demand and reducing annual CO2 emissions by about 5,857 tons. The installation has been designed for optimal performance over a 15-year period.

Although CWP Europe primarily focuses on large-scale renewable projects, this initiative marks a strategic move into distributed generation, supporting a major industrial partner in achieving decarbonization and sustainability goals. Leveraging its experience and investment capacity, CWP Europe considers the project a benchmark for industrial decarbonization in Serbia.
