In June, Croatian company Koncar and Slovenian hydropower operator HESS, which runs plants on the lower Sava in Slovenia, signed a contract to build two new solar power plants, SE FEBR-D1 and SE FEBR-D2, near the Brezice hydropower plant.
The facilities will be located on the left bank of the Sava River and will feature a total of 14,790 solar modules, providing a combined peak capacity of 9.2 MW. The project is valued at approximately 4.5 million euros and is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
