Montenegro household electricity consumption rises in July 2025 despite lower yearly usage

In July 2025, the average household electricity bill in Montenegro was 65.3 euros. Of households, 58.5% will pay less than 30 euros, 18.05% between 30 and 50 euros, 17% between 50 and 100 euros, and 6.45% will receive bills above 100 euros.

A total of 193,800 regularly paying customers, representing approximately 47.85% of all consumers, were granted a 10% discount. Power utility EPCG reported that households consumed 143.83 million kWh in July 2025, which is 5.68% less than in July 2024 but 25.29% higher than in June 2025.
