Bulgarian coal-fired power plant Bobov Dol will distribute a dividend of 0.051 euros per share for 2024, allocating around 444,000 euros from its net profit of just over 2 million euros. The remaining profit will be retained for future use. Dividend payments will begin on August 20 and continue over three months.

This year’s payout is significantly lower than the 2023 dividend of 0.102 euros per share, totaling about 880,000 euros. In 2024, the plant posted an unconsolidated net profit of 2.6 million euros, down from 6 million euros the previous year, as revenues dropped 8.4% to 191.4 million euros due to a 20% decline in product sales. Expenditures also fell by 6.5% to 188.8 million euros.

TPP Bobov Dol, a 630 MW facility located in southwestern Bulgaria, has been owned by Energy MK since its privatization in 2008.
