The Bulgarian Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) has approved a 0.1% reduction in the wholesale price of natural gas for June 2025. The new wholesale price stands at approximately €32.8 per megawatt-hour (MWh), excluding VAT and excise duties. This follows a previously approved 14.2% price decrease for May.

KEVR stated that Bulgaria’s natural gas demand for June will be met through supplies from Azerbaijan via the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, as well as liquefied natural gas (LNG) secured through contracts with traders.
