Bulgargaz, the state-owned gas supplier of Bulgaria, has announced a proposed reduction in wholesale natural gas prices for December 2025. For April, the proposed price stands at approximately €33.2 per megawatt-hour (MWh), reflecting a nearly 14% decrease compared to the previously approved April price of €38.3/MWh. This April rate itself was already 14.3% lower than the price set for March.

The final price for April will be officially determined by the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) on the first day of the month. Before the final decision, KEVR will consider the latest market conditions and incorporate feedback gathered during a public discussion held at the end of March.

This downward trend in pricing reflects a continued effort to align gas tariffs with global market developments and ensure affordability for consumers.
