The Competition Regulatory Authority (AZTN) has approved the acquisition of two Croatian project companies, Slavonija Power and Bilogora Power, by Slovenian ALFI Renewables and Austrian Ivicom Holding. According to the AZTN, the transaction is not expected to negatively impact market competition. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The project companies, previously wholly owned by Ivicom Consulting, are developing two solar power plants: Trenkovo, with an installed capacity of 12.5 MW, located in the Velika municipality in eastern Croatia, and Velika Pisanica, which has a capacity of 5.8 MW and is situated in the namesake municipality in central Croatia.

ALFI Group is currently active in Croatia primarily as an asset manager in sectors such as retail, debt collection, and other alternative investments, but has yet to enter the Croatian wholesale electricity market.
