Local company Elektrohertz is set to invest nearly €100 million in the construction of the Javor solar power plant in the municipality of Rogatica. The company has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS) for a concession to build the solar facility on 250 hectares of privately owned land.
The planned solar power plant will have an installed capacity of 150 MW and is expected to generate approximately 197.146 GWh of electricity annually. As part of the concession agreement, Elektrohertz will pay a one-time fee of around €500,000, along with a concession fee of €0.0027 per kWh of produced electricity.
Additionally, Elektrohertz will receive a 10% bonus in the offer evaluation process due to its role as the initiator for the concession grant.
